Uptown Golf Rules.
All Uptown Golf locations are monitored by video surveillance 24/7. If any customers are found to be in violation of any of the rules, Uptown Golf reserves the right to enact financial penalties based on the severity of any infraction.
  1. There will be NO smoking, e-cigarettes, alcohol, drugs, tobacco, marijuana, cannabis, vapour products, or any other similar products permitted inside any Uptown Golf location. Golfers are also not allowed to be under the influence and/or intoxicated while inside any Uptown Golf facility.
  2. There will be NO food allowed inside any Uptown Golf location. Only non-alcoholic bottled or capped drinks are allowed.
  3. At Richmond Hill and Oshawa, there is a strict maximum of 2 people per bay, no exceptions. The 2-person limit includes spectators. Your simulator will not turn on if you bring more than 2 people per bay and your session will not be refunded. This limit is 4 people in our Kelowna, BC location. Any capacity violations will result in an automatic $200 fine per person per 30 minutes.
  4. All golfers will preserve the quiet nature of the facility. Customer are not to be making excessively loud noise, profanity, commotion, etc. Golfers are also NOT allowed to enter/practice in any other adjacent bays that they have not booked and must only use their own bay during their session.
  5. Customers may use their own balls/tees. If a customer chooses to use their own golf ball, it must be CLEAN AND UNMARKED (no sharpie lines). Simply put, just use a new and clean golf ball.
  6. Account holder must be physically present during session. Customers will also not share their CloudKey with any other person.
  7. No formal lessons and/or instruction allowed by any non-authorized instructor.
  8. Golfers will not use or modify any existing programs and/or settings on the golf simulator computer, other than using the provided Foresight FSX Program Software. Golfers will also not change the language to anything other than 'English'.
  9. Any golfer that is found to be purposely, or negligently, damaging any part of the facility (i.e., walls, touchscreen, GC Hawk, equipment, turf, furniture, fixtures, etc.) will be fined for damages upon inspection. This violation may also result in a permanent ban from the facility.

It's all automated! The lights to the facility and your bay simulator will turn on approximately 10-minutes before your session and everything will automatically turn off when your session ends. Uptown Golf uses 'CloudKey' technology to allow customers to open the facility door securely. A CloudKey is simply a personalized and unique link that is generated when a booking has been paid.

Do I have to wear anything specific?
Our simulators detect the golf ball every time you swing. Please avoid wearing any black/dark shoes with white markings, and/or dark clothing/socks with white spots/marks. This may confuse the simulator in the golf ball detection. We recommend wearing solid dark colours for maximum accuracy.

Can I see club data (i.e., club face direction, club path, etc.) in your Simulators?
Unfortunately, the club data module has not yet been installed on our GC Hawks. We will notify our customers should this feature become available in the future. However, you can still see distance, spin, speed and other shot data built into the simulator.

Yes! You can create a free Foresight Sports Performance (FSX) Account here. When you arrive at Uptown Golf, make sure you login with your FSXusername and password, and all your data will be captured and saved. Just remember to logout before your session ends.
